Toyota Yaris

Toyota Yaris atau Toyota Vitz adalah mobil hatchback kecil yang diproduksi ole Toyota Motor Corporation. Yaris lahir pertama kali pada tahun 1999 di Eropa dengan desain, performa mesin, dan jaminan keselamatan serta konsumsi bahan bakar yang optimal, untuk memasuki pangsa pasar Eropa. Satu tahun setelah awal peluncurannya, tepatnya pada tahun 2000 Yaris memperoleh penghargaan European Car of The Year Award.

Bukan hanya itu saja Yaris juga diakui sebagai standar model kendaraan Compact two box di Jepang dan Amerika Utara. Untuk pasar Asia, Yaris dirakit di Thailand, sedangkan untuk pasar Eropa, Yaris dibuat di Perancis.
Yaris dipasarkan secara resmi di Indonesia dalam bentuk impor utuh (CBU) dari Thailand mulai tahun 2006 dengan model E dengan transmisi manual dan automatic, serta S and S Limited yang hanya tersedia dengan transmisi automatic. Versi S memiliki body kit and lampu kabut, dan Push button start / stop hanya untuk model S Limited. Semua model menggunakan mesin 1500 cc 1NZ-FE dengan VVT-i yang sama digunakan oleh Toyota Vios.

Versi facelift kedua tahun 2011 hadir dengan ubahan minor pada bumper depan dan lampu kabut, bumper dan lampu belakang yang mirip Vitz Jepang. Ubahan ini dirancang oleh desainer Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia berbasis Vitz TRD Jepang dan merupakan desain untuk pasar Asia selain Jepang. Versi TRD Sportivo tetap tersedia namun kali ini berbasis model S dengan tambahan hanya body kit dan asesoris lainnya tanpa suspensi sport. Ini merupakan facelift terakhir sebelum pergantian model secara total.
